Dubai day 1

Here's a preview of my first day in Dubai.

I must admit that from the first minute I fell in love with this city. It is a mixture of Manhattan with its skyscrapers while keeping the arabic atmosphere. I was very excited to be here in Dubai with my boyfriend who has contributed to make these holidays wonderful.

After woke up we went to Atlantis to visit The Lost Chambers that accommodate fascinating fish species with billions of different colors and shapes. The underwater world is definitely breathtaking. After taking typical tourist pictures in front of Atlantis, we went for lunch at One & Only hotel that offers stunning views of Dubai and its buildings. While I was having lunch in the sun surrounded by water I thought about Geneva and its cold weather and the first thing that came to my mind was "I don't miss it at all".
In the evening we were invited by the family to taste a delicious Moroccan tagine. I must say that you can be a miles away from your country, there will always be that little something to remind you how much you love it.
